Xegy was founded in 1998 with the vision to create web-based software designed to help companies manage the chaos of accelerating change. In Xegy, we have focused on business process from the perspective of mapping and managing the activities that people perform both individually and within the context of their organization. We built the software based on decades of collective learning from customers' experiences - both the successes and challenges. Xegy was designed to support the customer's processes rather than forcing the customer to conform to the software's process requirements.

The great promise of software is to make life easier. Yet, very few software applications actually perform on that promise. Users are required to change their work practices to adapt to the software creating a learning gap. If the work practices are broken, this makes sense; but too often, the software imposes work practices that are not more efficient and utlimately detract from bottom-line productivity. The cost of shifting the work practices of a large group of people can be tremendously expensive. Xegy is built from the ground up to adapt to existing work practices.

Since 1998,
Xegy has led the way in the concept of Software As A Service (SAAS). Our customers have their own secure databases. However, we have one source code that powers all of our Xegy databases over the Internet. What this means is that you get the best security and data managment methods protect your data based on your individual customer requirements. The cost is shared across the all customers based on the level of usage. You get the most cutting edge technology without having to assume the cost on your own.

You have the option to be in a shared database environment, have your own dedicated database, or even have your own server. We offer different levels of physical and managed data separation. The advantages of the SAAS model are many

  • Improvements and innovation occur frequently and are available to every customer as part of the normal service package.
  • Customers do not have to incur the IT costs of creating or support a large enterprise application internally.

The Relationship of Xegy and Franchise Roadmap:

Xegy is inherently an "application development platform" - meaning that customer specific solutions can be built (configured) utilizing Xegy's architecture and functionality. The advantage in this approach is that customers get business solutions designed for their unique needs at a fraction of the cost and without the headache of having to support their own IT staff and effort. Franchise Roadmap is such a solution. We at Xegy have prebuilt a franchise oriented application that can then be tuned or tailored for each franchise customer organization. The ease of implementing Franchise Roadmap (as a service) is ideally suited to the franchise market in that most franchises need to move quickly, don't have a deep internal IT infrastucture, and require solutions that each of their franchisees can easily adopt.

Success Story:
Kinko's used Xegy's New Hire Ramp Up and Customer Relationship Management application to launch their commercial sales division. Their Commercial Sales Team was struggling with slow training results and declining customer satisfaction within their commercial markets. Xegy was broght in to improve sales force effectiveness and help them manage the entire customer relationship cycle. The results were impressive.
